The result

On 26 June 2026, 0G Labs announced the winners of the 0G APAC Hackathon. Ghast AI took first place. NeoSoul, a trust layer for the agent economy, placed second, and Anima, a CLI-native agent framework, placed third. Alsphere0G, Hash_PayLink, railbeam_ai, and stealth_pay received excellence awards.

The hackathon was run by 0G Labs with HackQuest, with a US$150,000 prize pool and four tracks across the 0G stack, from agent frameworks and orchestration to storage, compute, and identity. Open days were held across the APAC region during the programme.

What we submitted

The winning entry was described by 0G as an AI agent client on 0G with decentralised reasoning and memory. It is the same foundation that runs in Ghast Workbench today.

  • Reasoning on 0G Compute. Models run through 0G Compute, a decentralised inference network, so no single provider sits in the middle of your work.
  • Memory on 0G Storage. Memories, conversations, and workspace records are encrypted on your machine and synced through 0G Storage, so the same private workspace is ready on every device.
  • Identity with 0G Agentic ID. Each digital teammate carries a verifiable on-chain identity that ties tasks, reviews, and deliveries to the agent that did the work.

What comes next

Ghast Workbench is available for Mac, Windows, and Chrome. The next layer, Ghast Protocol, is in development: a commerce layer that lets private AI work be published, purchased, verified, settled, and distributed as Capabilities.
